Details: Before doing any update of Audioworxs software it is always a good idea to take some precautions.
  • If possible test the proposed upgrades on a demo or test system so that you are aware of any issues that might arise.
  • Plan to upgrade the entire system - including client applications. In some cases changes to system servers (Job and File Transfer Servers) require corresponding changes in the client applications (such as AudioWav Mic, Player, System Manager, Import Manager etc.)
  • Make a backup of whatever will be replaced. In Audioworxs it is a good idea to backup the entire "...\Dataworxs System\Audioworxs\Program" folder before applying a patch or installing a new version.
  • Test each component of the system after performing the update to ensure they work as expected.
