Details: Using single-user Personal Companion 2.00.034 (or earlier), it is possible to generate an XML (Job Descriptor) file with no ID (or the wrong ID) in it. The problem may occur if a Philips recorder is used and these conditions are met:
  1. single-user Personal Companion
  2. Philips 9350/9400 with no ID (or ID different that the Personal Companion login ID)
  3. Downloading more than one dictation at a time
  4. User is required to enter at least one of the demographic fields
  5. Choose "Use values for all remaining..." after filling in the demographics for the first dictation

If these conditions are met then any job downloaded after step 5 will end up with a XML file that has no ID (or the wrong ID).

To correct this problem ensure that all Philips digital recorders in use have the proper ID and/or upgrade Personal Companion to 2.00.035 (or greater). Personal COmpanion 2.00.035 (single user) will now assign the login ID to all downloaded Philips files regardless of the ID on the recorder.
