Details: Using single-user Personal Companion 2.00.034 (or earlier), it is possible to generate an XML (Job Descriptor) file with no ID (or the wrong ID) in it. The problem may occur if a Philips recorder is used and these conditions are met:
- single-user Personal Companion
- Philips 9350/9400 with no ID (or ID different that the Personal Companion login ID)
- Downloading more than one dictation at a time
- User is required to enter at least one of the demographic fields
- Choose "Use values for all remaining..." after filling in the demographics for the first dictation
If these conditions are met then any job downloaded after step 5 will end up with a XML file that has no ID (or the wrong ID).
To correct this problem ensure that all Philips digital recorders in use have the proper ID and/or upgrade Personal Companion to 2.00.035 (or greater). Personal COmpanion 2.00.035 (single user) will now assign the login ID to all downloaded Philips files regardless of the ID on the recorder.
