Microsoft has announced that they will no longer be providing support for Windows XP SP1 and therefore Dataworxs recommends that all customers running a Dataworxs product on a Windows XP computer consider upgrading to SP2. The following is Microsoft's statement:
"Customers will lose support for their Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) if they do not switch to the latest Windows client, SP2, in the next few months.
Incident support for Windows XP Service Pack 1 will end Oct. 10, 2006 Microsoft reminded solution providers and end users... "
Note: The local loopback IP address of 127.1.1.1 will not work in XP SP2 without the appropriate fix from Microsoft. Instead use the loopback address 127.0.0.1.
