The error message "The license cannot be identified. Please install required DLLs or purchase a license" is not a Dataworxs error message. It is generated by software written by Olympus and is usually associated with the use of an Olympus digital recorder. Specifically, the error message is from the DSSCORE.DLL driver file which is usually located in the c:\windows\system32 folder.
Some Dataworxs products do install and rely on Olympus' DSSCORE.DLL driver to support interfaces with Olympus digital recorders. The latest version of DSSCORE.DLL supported by Dataworxs applications is 5.1.1.63. Newer versions of this file can cause the "...license cannot be identified..." error message.
The usual solution to this problem is to uninstall previously installed Olympus software and then re-installing the Dataworxs product. If DSSCORE.DLL is 5.1.1.63 or earlier, you will no longer get the license error message.
