Problem
Versions of Dataworxs products that support the Olympus DS-5000 digital recorder and use the Dataworxs Olympus Device Detector utility may cause a "Windows - No Disk" error message when a USB device that accepts removable flash memory cards (SD, MMC, XD, etc.) exists and has no card in one or more slots. The error is generated by Windows and contains, in part, the text "Windows - No Disk. Exception Processing...".

Software Affected
Personal Companion 2.01.049+
AudioWav Player 2.00.068+
File Transfer Assistant (FTA) 2.08.000+

Suggested Solutions
1) Unplug the flash memory reader when not in use.
2) Leave a flash memory card(s) in the reader.
3) At your own risk, modify the Windows registry to prevent Windows from displaying the message. Change "ErrorMode" from the default value of 0 (zero) to a value of 2 at HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows. Reboot your computer after making the change.
