Yes, you can use your iPhone or iPod touch to record dictations.
Dataworxs' AudioWav Mobile Mic for iPhone is an application that turns your iPhone/iPod into a convenient easy-to-use digital recorder. When finished recording your dictation it is securely distributed to one or more destination computers via a free Dropbox (www.dropbox.com) account.
At the receiving end, Dataworxs' UMI (Unified Messaging Interface) Player or Dataworxs Converter Service is used to import the iPhone dictation audio file into either a stand-alone AudioWav Player transcription workflow environment or into an Audioworxs dictation system.
Dataworxs' AudioWav MobileMic application for iPhone/iPod touch is specifically designed for 4th generation models that are running iOS 4.2+ and have a screen resolution of 960x640. Button graphics may not appear correctly in devices with a lower resolution (including the iPhone simulator that is included with 1st generation iPads).
