| Because of a hard drive crash I had to re-format my hard drive and then re-install the software from Dataworxs. I kept the Activation Keys from the original installation but they no longer work. What's wrong? |

Dataworxs uses the volume serial number stored on the hard drive along with other hardware identifiers to prevent unauthorized duplication of its software. When you purchase a license you are purchasing the right to use the software on the computer for which the Activation Key was issued. In the event that a hard drive must be re-formatted due to corruption or a crash the volume serial number may be changed. If this happens the Activation Keys will no longer be valid. You must contact your dealer or Dataworxs Systems Limited to be re-issued new Activation Keys. The old Activation Keys will be flagged as obsolete and will not be eligible for support or software upgrades.
