The "industrial strength" database engines like SQL Server and MySQL
will provide a speed advantage when dealing with a large number of
records but may not be noticeable in smaller systems. The "industrial
strength" database engines will, however, provide better record
integrity than Access, which is more likely to become corrupt,
especially as the number of job records become large. Access also can
become "bogged" down quickly if more than a couple of clients connect
to it simultaneously.
