Details: Windows XP supports an energy saving feature that will turn off a USB hub when not in use. This feature can interfere with the normal operation of a USB footpedal when used with Dataworxs player applications. This feature can be turned off for the specific hub that the footpedal is plugged into from the Device Manager under USB Controllers.
